Who we are
Bramble is made by Tenere Technology. If you want to reach a person about anything on this page, that is who you are reaching.
The short version
Bramble accounts belong to parents. We do not create accounts for children, and we do not collect information about them.
Bramble runs on a streaming device — a Chromecast with Google TV, or another Google TV / Android TV device — connected to your television. On this page, "the device" means that streaming device, and "your television" means the screen it is connected to.
The app on the device knows which household it belongs to and which shows that household approved. It does not know who is watching, and it does not record what gets watched.
What we hold
The table below lists everything. Items marked as coming from the device are the only data reaching us from a surface a child can use.

What we never collect
Some of these are enforced by automated tests rather than by policy, which means adding them later would break the build rather than pass unnoticed.
- Any child's name, age, or age range
- Anything about which child is watching
- What was watched, or for how long
- Any analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or attribution software — no such code is in the app on the device or the website, and a test in each project fails the build if one is ever added
- Location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera
- Anything typed on the device — the search keyboard narrows the list you already approved, and what you type is never written down or sent to us
Who else sees it
We use service providers to run Bramble: hosting, our database, and payment processing through Google Play and Stripe. They act on our instructions and may not use anything for their own purposes.
We do not sell anything we hold, and we do not share it for advertising.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything attached to it from your account settings, at any time, without asking us.
If a subscription lapses and you do not delete the account, we keep the approved-shows list for a limited period so that resubscribing does not mean starting over, and then we delete it.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will say so rather than quietly replacing the page.
